I worked at Snapchat as both a contractor and full-time employee on the Marketing team, writing and editing content both on and off the app. Oh, and I snuck in a little voiceover work while I was at it.

Stars (and Friendships) Align on Snapchat
In collaboration with Cosmopolitan astrologer Aurora Tower, I edited and adapted all of her astrological content to Snapchat’s brand voice and platform requirements.
Now a permanent, shareable element on the app, Snapchatters are just a few taps away from unlocking all the mysteries of their birth chart—and seeing how their sign aligns with their closest friends'.
With hundreds of potential combinations and outcomes, I took Aurora’s quick-and-dirty astrology write-ups and edited them for clarity and cohesion, adjusting the language to sound closer to Snapchat.

Snap Nation: Where Music Is More Than Sound
An evolution in the ongoing partnership between Snapchat and Live Nation, our team launched Snap Nation in early 2024 to help bring music-lovers closer to the action. Highlighting major festivals, once-in-a-lifetime tours, and up-and-coming artists, Snap Nation is the place for people to connect , discover, and share their passions.
And Snap Nation doesn’t just take music-lovers behind the scenes for exclusive content—it gives artists a way amplify their creativity and show their fans a whole different side of themselves and offers brands a native place to get in on the action and reach people at some of the biggest shows of the season.
I worked directly with marketers and designers to write content for Snap Ads, social media, live-event signage, and more. Our efforts helped Snap Nation reach 2M+ subscribers on Snapchat by spring 2025!

Integrated Marketing Packages
Together with brand managers, designers, and marketers, we developed compelling narratives for sales decks and one-sheets to showcase Snapchat’s newest offering, integrated marketing packages. These packages invited advertisers to be a part of key cultural moments for Snapchatters, including Halloween, the winter holidays, summer travel, Fashion Week, and back-to-school season.
We also developed materials for packages highlighting specific partnerships with major players like the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and Formula 1, demonstrating how brand’s could show up across the most impactful placements on Snapchat during moments when the community is most engaged.
I developed and wrote content that demonstrated all the benefits of advertising on Snapchat while showing how brands could authentically align with these seasonal moments to boost engagement, maximize visibility, and drive results.

Success Stories: Snapchat Case Studies
Showcasing Snapchat for Business and Snapchat’s robust suite of creative advertising tools, I worked together with Sales and Marketing to write and publish case studies for major brands in North America and abroad across tech, retail, consumer goods, and more.
These case studies highlight Snapchat’s most successful campaigns, including the brand’s goals, the ad products used, the strategy applied, and (of course!) the results achieved.
Case studies are published on the Snapchat for Business Success Stories page and some have been picked up by advertising publications, including AdWeek and Marketing Dive.

How to Use Snapchat
Originally intended for use at a one-off event, our team needed to create a video to quickly and easily help viewers understand Snapchat’s primary features and how to use them.
After receiving an initial brief, I wrote the script for the full video in language that was clear, concise, and on-brand. I then worked closely with stakeholders to help refine the script, guide the visual creative, and ensure clarity for viewers—especially those who have never used the app!
The video became a key marketing tool used across the company and has since earned more than 530,000 views on YouTube, where Snapchat has 1.63M subscribers.

Live Events: Snap Partner Summit, IAB NewFronts, and More
An enormous part of the Marketing team’s efforts go toward helping create and build out assets and deliverables for all kinds of live or pre-recorded events. My involvement included IAB NewFronts 2024 and 2025, the Law Enforcement Summit 2022–2024, Snap Inc.’s Investor Day, and three consecutive years working on the Snap Partner Summit, the company’s annual event to celebrate our partners.
For these mandates, I supported script writing and editing, helped QC and maintain information updates across key documents to keep everyone on the same page, and worked closely with designers to decide the most important points to present on-screen, including speaker quotes, stellar stats, and product details (I proofread everything, too!).
I also helped write assets for key marketing initiatives for each event, including emails, video recaps, social content, and more.

Read All About It: Internal Marketing Newsletters
I partnered with lead brand managers, marketers, and designers to launch the Marketing team’s internal newsletter, a way to share our team’s latest and greatest work with the entire company.
This initiative proved to be a great way to share what we were up to, helping to keep other teams apprised of marketing’s most important moments and fostering further collaboration. After the initial success of our Marketing newsletter, I worked closely with the integrated marketing team to help launch and write their very own internal comms.
I developed, wrote, and edited the content for both newsletters.
