Born and raised in Virginia. Lived and learned in France, Montréal, and Los Angeles.
Looking for a writer out in the wild? Find me in coffee shops across LA devouring books, blazing through NYT crosswords, and people (dog) watching.
I have been slowly working on a memoir, I Like My Body When It Is With Your Body Nobody, a collection of essays exploring experiences I’ve had living in this vessel—the negotiations I’ve made with myself, the world, and others as I navigate a body ravaged by chronic illness, dominated by men, and still discovering its place and purpose.
My best writing companions are my pup, Dot, and my cat, Moose, but when I need a break from words, words, words, I’m on my yoga mat, playing with film cameras, at the beach (or anywhere near water, under the sun), digging through flea markets, planning my next getaway, and baking treats for my favorite people.
I am currently available for freelance and full-time engagements.
